1. study job description, try to relate requirement to your experience, and rehearse it.
2. refresh frequently asked questions and tough questions for interviews of your job. Google it if they are not handy.
3. refresh the areas in job requirements which you are rusty
4. review your resume once or twice, make sure you know what is written in resume
5. contact your reference well in advance of the interview, send them your latest resume, make sure they are not on vacation and are available for reference check
6. print at least 3 copied of your resume, together with any certificates you have earned and related
7. bring a pen and notepad
8. bring a cell phone
9. figure out what clothes to wear
10. grooming: haircut if necessary; clip nails if necessary, take a shower
11. reconnaissance the location of your potential company if it's new to you, figure out where is door and where to park if you drive
12. note the detailed address, time, interviewer names if you have, take the resume, certificates etc, wallet/money, cellphone, paper, pen and go to interview
13. leave a lot of time in advance, account for anything unexpected like bus/train breakdown, your car breakdown/traffic jam
14. Pee or poo in advance
15. turn cellphone off or silent status.
16. go in 10 minutes early, meet receptionist and let he/she know what you are here for and who you want to meet
