built-in phone answering machine not working with freephoneline.ca
Root cause: login to freephoneline.ca account, Voicemail settings, rings, set it larger than what is set on your built-in answering machine,
so it can pick up phone earlier than voicemail service in your freephoneline.ca account

My experience with freephoneline.ca
Seven years ago, in 2012, I registered an account on freephoneline.ca, got a free phone number, then bought a PAP2 ATA for CAD30,
bought configuration file from freephoneline.ca for CAD50, and configured onto the ATA and the phone works, at that time I did not know how reliable
freephoneline is, so just installed that phone as backup, also not sure how long freephoneline.ca can survive with this only one time fee for ATA configuration.
I am surprised my phone has kept working reliably for 7 years already!
Enough tested! I decide to port my main home number to freephoneline.ca and buy configuration again to keep two numbers, since PAP2 can support two numbers.
so I logged in my freephoneline account, in their store, chose to port my main home number to freephoneline, then placed the order.
I assumed that after porting, my account will have two numbers, and I can still buy configuration file for CAD50.
but only after order placed, I found the configuration fee is now CAD99.95, a bit regretting.
After 10 business days' waiting, I got Fongo email saying porting completed, I need to re-configure my ATA by just changing user ID which is 1 followed by phone number
I only changed the user ID and plugged in my phone to it, and it works!
but my original freephoneline number seems lost, not in my account any more, now my account is only associated with my main home number.
The good thing is I do not need to buy configuration for my newly ported number for CAD100. so in total I spent CAD105,
the first number configuration fee CAD50 plus this time number porting one time fee CAD25 plus ATA CAD30.

Dymo labelwriter 450 printer prints label wrong
suppose you have installed the software required by the Dymo labelwriter 450 printer quick start user guide
and you have connected power cord and connected printer to your computer via USB
when you first time launch the software, most likely you get this screen:
since the label roll is pre-loaded, you probably happily click Add > Text to the label area on screen, then click the blue button Print: dah..dah..,
at least in my case, it prints the wrong direction. I tried:
1. select the text box on label, then in left pane, change text format: horizontal, vertical..., not working.
2. change layout: none, 90, 180, 270, not working...
3. searched and watched some youtube videos, they mentioned change label type, but when click the up arrow at bottom right corner of screen,
there is only one label type: White Address Labels 30251
so still not working....
wasted 10+ labels, I felt guilty and stupid, almost gave up.
final try: click New at top left menu bar, a wizard appears, Select printer > select label type, here it is! the pre-loaded label type is 30334 (which is printed on the back of label), but when the software is first launched, the default is White Address Labels 30251, that's why it prints the wrong direction.
finally it works, it worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrks !
but this so critical operation is not mentioned in their user guide, which is stupid and also make their user feels stupid, even though such a good useful gadget.
